Mostar International Airport is an airport near Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated in the village of Ortiješ, 4 NM (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) south southeast of Mostar's railway station. Mostar Airport was opened for civilian air traffic in 1965 for domestic flights. In 1984, the airport became Mostar International Airport and was announced to be an alternative for Sarajevo International Airport during the 1984 Winter Olympics.
